ATS STAFF FEATURED IN BOOK (posted 11/2009)
Martha Stitt, ATS Clinical Coordinator, is featured in the book, Rounding the Circle of Love:
Growing Up as She Grows Old, an interactive guide that shows how to lower stress for
caregivers and elders, by Harriet Tramer. Martha presented how art therapy is used for
seniors, particularly those with memory loss, at Joseph-Beth Booksellers on November 10th.

ART THERAPY STUDIO RECOGNIZED (posted 1/2010)
The Art Therapy Studio (ATS) was recognized by the Cleveland
Departments of Aging and Public Health for our leadership in providing
essential services to individuals living with a disability in our community.

MICKIE MCGRAW, AWARDED CLEVELAND ARTS PRIZE (posted 5/2010)
Arts Prize awarded Mickie the Martha Joseph Prize for Distinguished Service to the Arts, which
honors an individual or organization whose exceptional commitment, vision, leadership or
philanthropy has made a significant contribution to the vitality and stature of the arts in Northeast

“ACCESSIBLE EXPRESSIONS OHIO 2011" (posted 6/15/11)
Art Therapy Studio is proud to partner with VSA Ohio, the state organization on arts and disability, to showcase
“Accessible Expressions Ohio 2011” at The Gallery at Art Therapy Studio’s Fairhill Partners site June 1 through mid-
“Accessible Expressions” is a statewide, juried, visual art exhibition that tours to select cities in Ohio each year. An
important component of VSA Ohio’s professional development programming, the exhibit offers Ohio artists with
disabilities the opportunity to participate in an adjudicated exhibition, provides exposure to state and national
audiences, and enhances their portfolios.
CUYAHOGA ART & CULTURE GRANT (posted 11/2010)
Art Therapy Studio was one of 133 organizations across Cuyahoga County to receive grant support from Cuyahoga Arts
and Culture (CAC). The grant will support the Discover the Artist Within You program. We received a panel score of 88.4
from the CAC. This ranked as the 6th best score among organizations receiving grants. For more info, click here.
ARTLOAN BENEFIT (posted 9/2013)
Thank you to everyone who made our ArtLoan Benefit a great success.
The event, which was held Saturday night, September 21 at Shaker
Heights Country Club, brought together artists, patrons, corporate
sponsors, volunteers, and guests to support the creative art programs
offered by the Art Therapy Studio!

BRINGS AREA PASTRY CHEFS AND FOODIES
TOGETHER TO RAISE MONEY AND AWARENESS
Join honorary chair, Chef Doug Katz, Cleveland restaurateur and the
mastermind behind the popular Fire Food & Drink, Katz Club Diner
and Provenance restaurant at the Cleveland Museum of Art at the
Creative Confections Dessert Competition at 6:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 7,
at Cleveland’s Skyline Lake Room at the Ariel International Center.
With the theme “The Artful Cupcake,” area pastry chefs have been
challenged to create cupcakes inspired by art and design, bringing
delicious creativity to the event’s guests.
Following the judging, mini samples of all the cupcake entries will be shared with guests, along
