SINCE 1967
Marcus suffered a brain injury in 1994 from a motorcycle accident
at the age of 23. Marcus doesn't often remember what he has
been working on from week to week, but...he is proud of his
finished pieces and has several of them hanging not only in his
home, but the homes of family, friends and medical offices.
Marcus participates in the Art Therapy Studio’s "Discover the
Artist Within You" class at MetroHealth. When asked why he likes
to come to art therapy he said, "I'm good at it. The people there are
cool. The class is cool. It's enjoyable." Marcus' family supports
his artwork and his mother said, "We love having Marcus involved
with the Art Therapy Studio. His creativity is amazing and it’s one
of the few places he can go to keep his mind active."
